What is most valuable?

The analytic data that is reported using PernixData Architect is by far the best storage metrics we have been able to gather on our environment. PernixData FVP increased the performance of our legacy SAN while decreasing its load.

How has it helped my organization?

Architect has reduced our time in troubleshooting infrastructure verses application issues. We can tell real time on a per virtual machine basis if there is an underlying storage performance issue that needs to be addressed. FVP has saved… more»

If you previously used a different solution, which one did you use and why did you switch?

Previous to PernixData we did not have a solution for analytic data or host side acceleration.

What other advice do I have?

I would no longer recommend this product since the company has been bought by Nutanix and the brand is effectively being killed off.
