Veritas NetBackup Valuable Features
The VM portal and the CloudCatalyst are two of the solution's most valuable features. View full review »
The value of this solution is that it's a complete solution and the fact that we can do almost every standard process including backups, is interesting and better than the competition. Everything is under one console as opposed to some of the other solutions whereby you can use them to do key backups but when it comes to the client you can't monitor everything on the console. This product is already compatible with most of our servers, it's already doing backup on disc, on tapes, on other peer servers. View full review »
The most valuable aspect of the solution for our clients, obviously, is security. It backs up Microsoft SQL Server very well. The solution offers very good storage efficiency, so there's excellent compression and deduplication within the product that our clients really appreciate. View full review »

Overall, the solution is great. We have no complaints in terms of the quality it provides. We have been using Veritas NetBackup in our environment for the past 10 years. Although the features don't change much, it's extremely user friendly for us. We have widely deployed the solution as our sole backup solution for the past few years. The solution offers a lot of really great features that organizations can utilize and take advantage of. View full review »

The solution has many great features, particularly the feature they provide for deduplication. They have also recently included a new feature on the interface, where you can connect remotely and get any report, rather than having to check the solution through the server. They have different solutions for different things, so if you need to back up, for example, they have a solution for backing up on cloud or on-premise. View full review »
