If you were talking to someone whose organization is considering Teradata, what would you say?
How would you rate it and why? Any other tips or advice?
On a scale from one to ten, I will rate Teradata a seven. An additional feature I would like to see included in the next release is that it needs to be more cloud-friendly. That's the one thing they're going to lose customers over, so that needs to improve. I know they're working on it, but they need to do it quicker.
I am doing research on the comparison between Teradata and Greenplum for helping customers (bankers) migrate from TD to GP.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of Greenplum? What can Teradata do that Greenplum can't? Can these differences be accomplished by another tool?
Thanks! I appreciate the help.
One of the most popular comparisons on IT Central Station is IBM DB2 vs Oracle Database.
What is the biggest difference between these two solutions? Which would you recommend?
Thanks for your help!
