They have different plans. In my opinion, QBO is a bit on the pricey side, but you have no choice. It is still better, in the long run, to go with their pricing or their software than the alternatives. For example, on the desktop, or when you start going into other options like payroll and then direct deposit, it can be a little pricey. It could be more expensive to go with other services as well. In the long run, I believe QBO is the best one.
There's a revenue share program that they have which is not simple and I'm not a huge proponent of it, but it's cool. I pay a monthly license fee. I think it would be beneficial for some clients if they had the option to pay an annual fee, but I don't know if that capability is available yet.
