Hi,

We all know it's really hard to get good pricing and cost information.

The solution is a bit costly. We would prefer it if the price wasn't so high.

The price of the solution is reasonable, it normally comes included with a purchase of a laptop or other device.

The solution is pricey. If cost is a problem, users should look at Linux. We paid for the solution one time and don't have any recurring fees.

We have a license for all the products in my organization—the license for Windows Server and the license for the desktop version like Windows 10.

I am not sure about the pricing. It might be $1,000 per license. The price goes down by the number of licenses. The price could be cheaper. Not very cheap but cheaper.

Pricing depends on the type of license. If you are an enterprise customer, you can pay for licensing on a monthly basis. We, however, are an educations firm, we pay for our licensing on an annual basis. It also depends on the relationship you have with Microsoft.

While I am not the IT manager, I do know that the licensing costs comes with a subscription that is based on volume.

I believe there is an agreement with Microsoft to pay the licensing fee yearly.

We already have a license for Windows 10 in our role as Microsoft partners.

The licensing is okay. We normally buy the Pro version, the Business version. We find all features are already incorporated.

For Filipino standards, it's quite expensive. We pay per license. So far, there have been no hidden costs.

When we purchase a new machine, it comes with it, and we don't pay separately for the license.

I have never bought this solution myself, I generally get it with my Notebook for free. I think they are competitively priced at this moment. They could reduce the price a bit more, currently, it is priced in the middle.

The basic operating system of any hardware should be free. Therefore, it should be free. They should charge only for the enterprise level or enabling the hypervisor. They should charge for Professional Windows 10, but the basic OS should be free.

Windows 10 was already factory installed on our new PCs. We upgraded to Windows 10 Professional later. For home users, the professional version is not necessary unless file sharing between PCs is a requirement.

Windows 10 came with the computer when I bought it, so it was already licensed.

I think it is fair. I haven't bought it on my own because our laptops are from the company, and our company pays for it.

There are yearly costs. For my home computer it's a lifetime license, only purchased once.

There aren't additional costs over and above the licensing. The pricing is pretty straightforward. The pricing is in US dollar, however, I'm unsure as to what the full cost is.

There are different licenses available, however, I don't know what the costs are. It's not a part of the solution I handle.
