What is most valuable?

The ease of implementation is the solution's most valuable feature.

What needs improvement?

With the previous version, it was possible when having a cloud solution, to back up the data on-premises. Now it is no longer possible, and I don't really know why. When we have the cloud subscription we have to pay to have on-premises… more »

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The pricing depends on the customer. Most of the time, the first year is prepaid. After that year, some customers choose to switch to monthly billing, while others continue to pay yearly. There are extra costs as well, for example, for… more »

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We previously used Veeam Cloud Connect. We still use it for some customers. The customer decides which solutions they choose to use and we, as integrators, implement it for them.

What other advice do I have?

I've been using the solution for two years. We're an integrator and we deploy the solution for our customers who typically use the cloud deployment model. It would not be the first solution I would direct a customer to, but this solution… more »

What is most valuable?

The most valuable features are the automated backup, and that you are able to manage all of your devices centrally. You are able to create a different account for the different clients so that everyone is backing up on the same server in their own environment.

What needs improvement?

I would like to have support for agentless backup, where you don't have to install an agent on the host.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Prior to Acronis, I used to use Cobian Backup. It had a final release several years ago. Cobian did not have a lot of features. For example, it didn't have those related to cloud-based backups or knowledge of federated accounts.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

What is most valuable?

How has it helped my organization?

As a Service Provider, we onboarded 100+ customers on a single console. Having Remote sessions/delaying access sorts everything out. One console, may customers and many workloads really help. Reporting is not on par. It needs some more information as per customer or partner interest. I hope Acronis is working on it. The bad point is always customer support and partner support, which Acronis has… more »

What needs improvement?

I would recommend for them to improve reporting. There should be better customer and partner support. Both are very bad at this moment. The product looks promising and we are eagerly waiting for further releases with cybersecurity tools as well.

What is most valuable?

The most valuable features are its ease of use, the speed, and its got a reasonable amount of granular control. It also has another big advantage, which is built-in protection from ransomware.

What needs improvement?

I would like to see enhancements made to the security.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

There is a free trial available in order for people to evaluate it.

What other advice do I have?

This is a solution that I recommend everybody try. Even if you are trying something else, they offered a free trial and it is worthwhile to see how easy, fast, and powerful this solution is. I would rate this solution a ten out of ten.
