The latest version of BotFarm is quite stable, and it didn't give us many issues. The previous version of BotFarm had issues, particularly with jobs being triggered but not starting at the scheduled time. Sometimes a job starts, but it's not deployed to the Client Mission, so scheduling in the previous version of the tool isn't as reliable, but with the latest BotFarm version, my team had a better experience.

The solution is quite stable. It's very reliable. When you're adding the additional licenses the basic structure is there. It's just the licensing that gets involved. It's more on the configuration side. Otherwise, it is quite seamless with the interface. The preliminary interface is Automation Anywhere, so there are no issues there.

Scheduling bots has been an issue. For example, if you want to schedule automation and it’s set for 5:00 pm, it means that you would need to execute it on the client’s machine every day at 5:00 pm. The issue though, is that it fails a lot because I could have it scheduled but sometimes the bots don’t get involved. That’s an issue that has been a struggle.

The solution is stable, however, we have definitely seen some issues with deploying the bot between the Dell server and the broader servers. Due to resolution issues, I find it takes time to get it up on Chrome, in the browser. You need to sometimes wake up the bot. These kinds of issues have definitely dropped off a bit. It's a little bit of a gray area at the moment, as it's hard to say when they will come up.
View full review »The system is stable and very little maintenance is required, assuming the bots process is perfectly designed.
For example, if the interface of the ERP system changes, maintenance would be required to adjust the bot settings to point to moved buttons/features.

Based on our usage, it is pretty stable. There are minor hiccups, but they are not because of the product. They are because of the hybrid integration that we have. We are planning to move to version 8, which is a pure cloud model.

When it comes to stability, I prefer Automation Anywhere or UiPath, which is simple to code and to handle and has an easily obtainable platform. It has a much simpler deployment and configuration process and the tool can be easily acquired.
