How has it helped my organization?

We were able to collapse over 95% of our orchestration directly into Chef and CloudBolt as opposed to having well over 300+ steps of orchestration in vCO and multiple scripts to call out to other self developed API's to do that same thing.... more»

What needs improvement?

What do you think of Scalr?

Valuable Features It used to be the ability to autoscale based on load. • Improvements to My Organization I was able to to deal with requests without needing every server on; I could turn them off. • Room for Improvement Compatibility with SoftLayer I think was our block. Rackspace was fine, as far as I know. • Use of Solution I think I have been using it for a few months. • Stability Issues We didn’t have stability problems. • Scalability Issues We didn’t have scalability problems. • Customer Service and Technical Support I don't recall using technical support. • Previous Solutions We did use AWS autoscaling but Rackspace left something to be desired. • Initial Setup Setup was fine.
