We use Cisco Linksys switches in our network and we have just recently installed a new unit for a project that started this year.
We use the Cisco Linksys Ethernet Switches for small purposes, such as setting up our test environment and running our tests. They're getting data from our tests. We are a manufacturing company, so when we manufacture a product, we test it. This is done using small private networks, which is where we use the Linksys switches.
We primarily use the solution because of it's relatively cheaper price (as compared to other options).
We are a tech services company and this is one of the solutions that we provide to our customers. The primary use case for Cisco Linksys Ethernet Switches is for networking in a data center, or campus networking.
I primarily use the solution for configuring Linksys IDs with the lines on Linksys access points. I make a cluster for all access points of Linksys to control them from one master.
We use Cisco Linksys Switches to provide Wi-Fi access to the internet in open areas.
We don't do the deployment in our environment, we are consulting. Our clients use this solution for the logical segmentation of the network to the access layer, and remote log switches. They can also deploy the switches.
We use this solution to build networks that interconnect different branches and buildings in different layers. We can also connect to a cloud environment. The model of switch that is used depends on the application. I prefer to use the 4500 series for the distribution layer, but for the access layer, the 2950 series is better.
We have used this solution mostly for small businesses. The primary use case of this solution is for connecting computers to a network.
