My primary use case is for data mining and processing data from plants. It's normally just for databases for the systems.

Our correlation and relational databases are on Microsoft SQL Server. The company uses two platforms: MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server. Some applications are on MySQL, and some applications are SQL Server. I have pretty much worked all my life in Microsoft SQL Server.

I use SQL Server to optimize SQL queries and find the estimated cost of my queries. I also use it to fine tune my procedures and functions.
