It's very user friendly and easy to use out of the box.

  • Easy learning curve

  • It is easy to make a new design with the basic templates available
  • The statistics feature is very important to see if our newsletters are being read

How has it helped my organization?

We used to send a lot of emails with Microsoft Outlook but it took too much time. Now, with Mailchimp it is so much easier to send mailings to our members.

What needs improvement?

At this moment I cannot think of one.

Customer Service:

Service is great! I have had some questions about mailings and I used the chat feature. I was always helped in a superb way.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before I used Yourzine.nl which is also a web based newsletter application. We switched because of the costs as Yourzine was too expensive.

How was the initial setup?

Very out of the box. No need for assistance. If you are familiar with internet and websites, you can start right away.

What about the implementation team?

We did not make use of a vendor.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

  • Setup costs: none
  • Monthly costs: about US$240

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

No, this product (Mailchimp) was the best option we found.

What other advice do I have?

No need of advice. It works out of the box on a web browser.
