MailChimp Review

It's great for those on a strict budget, however, they have very little support.

What is most valuable?

The ability to send emails without needing to know any code. Also, it's great for those on a strict budget.

How has it helped my organization?

My company wanted to send emails, but had a very small budget.

What needs improvement?

They have poor inbox visibility, and many of the emails went to the spam folder. The domains that the emails were sent from were blacklisted, thus affecting our inbox visibility.

For how long have I used the solution?

I used it for two years.

What was my experience with deployment of the solution?

No issues encountered.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Yes - sending emails and getting into the inbox.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

No issues encountered.

How are customer service and technical support?

Customer Service:

It is self service and they have very little support. However, they do have a lot of FAQ's you can read through.

Technical Support:

Very beginner.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

No previous solution was used.

How was the initial setup?

It was straightforward. There are no customizations and it's batch and blast.

What about the implementation team?

We implemented it in-house.

What was our ROI?

Very little.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

It cost us about $250.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

No other options were evaluated.

What other advice do I have?

If it's for a small business sending out a monthly newsletter, it's a great solution. If you are a business looking for stability and different campaign types to run, look at a different solution.
