Its functionality and performance are adequate but it provides a single source of truth for customer data

What is our primary use case?

We use it as the Master Data Management platform for a large bank in Australia which has many separate customer data repositories.

How has it helped my organization?

The intent of this platform is to provide a single source of truth for customer data. To some extent, this has been achieved. Any customer MDM project tends to be complicated and difficult to show a positive business case over a short to medium time frame.

What is most valuable?

As an general MDM, OCH is adequate. OCH grew our of Oracle's Siebel CRM suite so it's origins weren't as an MDM. More specialised MDM products probably have additional features.

What needs improvement?

OCH has adequate functionality and performance (using specialised hardware from the same vendor) to serve a group customer master.
