VMware Workspace ONE Review

It lets us see whether users have rooted their phones and allows us to set standards before letting phones onto our network. It lacks, however, app-level support.

Valuable Features

  • Mobile provisioning
  • Security
  • Some mobile application provisioning

Improvements to My Organization

It lets us see whether users have rooted their phones, and set standards before letting phones on our network. It has minimal OS levels, and provides the abilities to enforce security.

Room for Improvement

  • Application-level support
  • Per-app VPN coming together

Stability Issues

It hasn’t always been good, but getting better. We do quasi-hosted situations, so getting it to the right level took a while.

Scalability Issues

I don't have the visibility of this.

Customer Service and Technical Support

We haven't had to use it.

Initial Setup

I wasn't involved in the setup.

Other Solutions Considered

We chose Airwatch because it has a good setup, is easy to administer, and the POC was good.

Other Advice

I would recommend it, as it's very stable and robust. Make sure you stay current with it, and up to date.
