What do you think of SAP ERP?

Primary Use Case European migration in the 2000's was the main reason to change. The legacy mainframe bespoke application was difficult to maintain. • Improvements to My Organization We were able to consolidate various obsolete IT systems 15 years ago in the context of merging several companies into a more integrated business. • Valuable Features Finance view across functions has been valuable. The platform has been used to automate transactional processes. • Room for Improvement The ergonomics of ECC were poor and unattractive to newcomers, as businesses expect process streamlining. • Use of Solution More than five years.

What do you think of SAP S/4HANA?

Primary Use Case SAP S/4 HANA has cloud facilities. Also, it has Fiori apps. This tool helps us to manage business in a faster and smarter way.  • Improvements to My Organization The new functionality helps people. Employees have become more efficient and skilled. It manages the business in a faster way than before we had the solution installed.  • Valuable Features Business partner functionality helps us to manage vendors and customers from a single screen. Another one is product costing. Product CO-PA implementation is easier than before. • Room for Improvement MRP repost area should be improved. What do you think of Oracle ERP Cloud?

Valuable Features: The financial features are pretty good. The users love them. • Room for Improvement: The finance users would like to be able to drill down into all of the details. Right now, we have to consider third-party software for drilling down. • Use of Solution: We have been using it since 2005, 11 years. • Stability Issues: It has never crashed. • Scalability Issues: We have made some customizations. It has totally met the needs for the financial department. • Initial Setup: Initial setup is complex. We hired an outside consultant to do the implementation for us. • Other Solutions Considered: We chose Oracle because we think it is a big, stable company.
