The old version was a proprietary system, had limited device visibility, no centralized SysLog, SNMP v2, had per campus monitoring system, no Wi-Fi visibility, and had limited licenses compared to the new version, which is multi-vendor, has a... more»

What do you think of Zabbix?

Valuable Features The most valuable features are the monitoring and the ease with which we can set it up at customer sites with our custom Zabbix proxy and tools. It is very agile and it is easy to do custom setups. • Room for Improvement The dashboard and the graph section could be a little bit more professional. • Use of Solution We have been using Zabbix for about five years. • Stability Issues There were no issues with stability, but we needed to adjust some of the standard values in the configuration. However, that was to be expected. • Scalability Issues I haven't scaled yet, but we plan to do this with two front-ends, two Zabbix cores, and HA MySQL. • Customer Service and Technical Support We haven't used technical support yet. Valuable Features Scalability.
