What do you think of SAP HANA?

Improvements to My Organization Provides us with predictive capabilities for asset maintenance and real-time forecasts. • Valuable Features Real-time database, near zero downtime for production business. • Room for Improvement Graphical programming without coding. • Use of Solution Three to five years. • Stability Issues System recovery in version 1.0 failed due to corrupt log files. What is most valuable?

Usually, the I/O operation is a more intensive and costly one. In any transaction processing, the I/O is a more expensive operation due to storage and better performance. In terms of improvement, related to other products when we were running down the physical servers, we ran into some issues. What do you think of Apache Hadoop?

Valuable Features Impala. As compared to Hive on MapReduce, Impala on MPP returns results of SQL queries in a fairly short amount of time, and is relatively fast when reading data into other platforms like R (for further data analysis) or QlikView (for data visualisation). • Improvements to My Organization The quick access to data enabled more frequent data backed decisions. • Room for Improvement The key shortcoming is its inability to handle queries when there is insufficient memory.
