What do you think of Dynatrace?

Primary Use Case We use it mainly to debug, control performance and KPIs of a tourism company. We can provide dashboards to business. • Improvements to My Organization With Dynatrace, we can be more productive and agile. It allows us to be more accurate when we need to work with bugs. • Valuable Features The ability to go deep into production code. With this tool, we can work with bugs like no other tool can. • Room for Improvement The dashboard tool needs to be improved. We need more options, because the look and feel is too old-fashioned. • Use of Solution Three to five years.

What needs improvement?

SCOM agents have a heavy footprint. Would like a lighter, more-efficient footprint. It takes a developer’s mindset to fully utilize SCOM’s potential. I would like easier deployment of MP and custom monitors.

What is most valuable?

Being able to monitor transactions end-to-end, throughout all the layers, basically, is very valuable; the ability to pin-point issues irrespective of the layer in which they happened. That's really helpful and very valuable.

How has it helped my organization?

It reduces the time to resolve issues and requires less manpower. When issues happen, we have the whole triage going on and we used to have like 30 people on the call trying to figure out what's going on. AppDynamics cuts that down; you don't... more»

What needs improvement?
