Easy to use, good password management and a straightforward setup

What is our primary use case?

Currently, we use the solution for identity management. We wanted to have our own identity management on-premises as we did not want to use any third-party cloud solutions.

Pros and Cons

  • "The solution's ability to save and manage of all my passwords is great."
  • "In terms of managing the users on a large scale, it would be easier if they had some kind of user management portal."

What other advice do I have?

I'm not sure of the version we are using, however, I do believe it is the latest release. I use it on my personal computer for my personal use. I have a web subscription. I was recently looking for other Identity providers available that have on-premises potential. OneLogin has on-premises solutions but their enterprise options are a bit on the expensive side so we are looking for alternatives. Currently, I'm much more focused on Okta, as the solution hasn't really met our requirements. The main feature that we are looking for is the device management in which we don't need to have a plugin…

Reduces complexity with single sign-on and provides valuable application-usage related metrics

What is our primary use case?

We provide virtual workspaces for small to medium-sized organizations. Because we don't have many service desk employees (and we don't like to do support ;) ), we use HelloID to automate every repetitive task we can imagine. Also, we use HelloID as our SSO solution.

Pros and Cons

  • "The Single Sign-On capabilities are endless and we haven't found a single app so far that couldn't be set up for SSO."
  • "I would like to have the built-in provisioning module improved."

What other advice do I have?

I would recommend following them for the demos and webinars. There is a lot of cool stuff and features which you might not have known about. At this moment, we do not have any wishes. We have submitted a lot of feature requests in the past, but since there is a release every month, all our FRs and nice-to-haves have been implemented. My advice would be to at least use this solution for service automation and access management because that's something you won't regret. Overall, I would recommend HelloID for its ease of use and fair pricing.

Good authentication features and good stability

What is our primary use case?

We use this solution for authenticating users on our system and our clients' systems. Not only Google, but also to integrate Google Cloud Identity with other systems such as MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions, and endpoints — like computers.

Pros and Cons

  • "Although we have not looked at the whole product and explored it completely, we find that all the authentication features that we are using now are valuable."
  • "To improve the product, the integration with third-party products could always be smoother."

What other advice do I have?

It is as good as anything else in the product category. It works just like other products that do the same, like Oracle (Identity Cloud Service) or Microsoft Azure or Okta. On a scale from one to ten where one is the worst and ten is the best, I would rate this product as maybe about an eight.

Provides login authentication for mobile apps and has good stability

What is our primary use case?

I'm a security architect. The product is used by our customers, not by our company people directly, so I expect we would have several thousand people using this solution.

Pros and Cons

  • "It has improved our organization by providing login authentication for a mobile app."
  • "The product could use a more flexible administration structure"

What other advice do I have?

In terms of advice, I think that if your application is developer-driven, then Auth0 provides extremely good developer support and supports multiple development tools and strategies. That's where I believe the product comes into its own. If you're enterprise, then Okta or Microsoft are probably a better solution. It's worth watching. I would rate this product an eight out of 10.

Easy to manage and integrates well with third-party applications

What is our primary use case?

We are a software development company and solution provider, and this is one of the products that we implement for our clients. This is an easy way to give users access to applications. I can share access with other organizations outside of our network.

Pros and Cons

  • "The ability to grant access to other organizations is helpful."
  • "Microsoft needs to add a single setup, so whenever resources join the company or are leaving the company, all of the changes can be made with a single click."

What other advice do I have?

The suitability of this solution depends on the technology and the environment at the organization. Many companies are still transitioning to the cloud, leaving part or all of their data on-premises. Ultimately, it depends on the data that they have and their preference or requirements for keeping it on-premises. In some cases, people want to move only non-private data to the cloud. All of these things have to be considered before implementing Azure Active Directory. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
