Pamela Salzman PHR says in a Ceridian Dayforce HCM review
Benefits Manager at a financial services firm with 5,001-10,000 employees
As the HR Benefits Director, the benefits module is my favorite. The ACA Tracking, FMLA, and COBRA management are on point. With our previous software management program, we were required to manage our processes manually exposing the company to possible costly penalties. Now, our employee benefits enrollment is managed through Ceridian Dayforce, which makes for a limited manual process. View full review »
Cheryl Wampler says in a Ceridian Dayforce HCM review
HR Manager with 501-1,000 employees
There are so many valuable features it is hard to single out a few. However, the electronic timekeeping has had one of the biggest impacts as so many were positively impacted by this implementation compared to how this task was handled prior to Dayforce. Employees like being able to see what entitlements/balances that they have for their time away. They also like seeing their daily earnings. If they have any question about their time sheet and/or pay prior to a pay run, they can ask as they see what is being turned in. From an employer perspective, I like the employees seeing their "Total Compensation" year-to-date. Prior to Dayforce, our employees had no clue how much their total compensation was. Anthony Collier says in a Workday review
Principal Integration Architect at a tech vendor with 11-50 employees
The flexibility to integrate with the product. It has several tools, out-of-the-box, for integrations. It delivers pre-built interfaces for specific vendors, pre-built generic integrations to extract or push data into Workday through configuration. Workday also delivers tools that allow you to build your own custom interfaces. So for me it is the ease of integration with the product. In addition to the integration tools, I would also say the system being a fully consolidated system. All the transactions and configuration are co-located in one fully in-memory system, so there is no need to go to different data sources (multiple DBs) to pull data; it’s all in one place. VP Human Resources at Independent Bank
The integrated business intelligence tool (IBM Cognos) is by far the absolute best reporting tool I have ever used in my 15 years of being in HR. The tasks that can be accomplished in Report Studio, plus the delivered reports that Ultimate has already put together, can allow any user, HR or otherwise, to make an instant impact. Ultimate Software also provides organizations with the ability to make a positive impact from the very beginning of the employee life cycle. From recruiting and onboarding, employee self-service and benefits enrollment, performance management and career development, organizations can create a meaningful employee experience that will last throughout their career. The UltiPro application will also work to create efficiencies that will make any-size HR department the hero of the organization. View full review »
