Dragos Cernat says in a Zscaler Internet Access review
Global Information Security Architect at a construction company with 10,001+ employees
I cannot say that I found only one feature that is most valuable, but I can tell you that I find value in traffic scanning and samples. That I think is quite valuable for all their software. The scanning feature is impressive, because they do not introduce a big latency to the traffic. I really like how they manage this part. View full review »
Adrian Larsen says in a Zscaler Internet Access review
Chief Executive Officer at a tech services company with 1-10 employees
Zscaler provides a lot of features in terms of control (URL filtering, cloud app control, etc.), which can be found in other solutions as well, but in terms of security, it is quite unique. SSL inspection, Advanced Threat Security, and Cloud Sandbox are probably the most valuable. * SSL inspection is easy to implement and the performance is great (it is the responsibility of Zscaler to provide it). * Advanced Threat Security protects you from most threats that can bypass the classic anti-malware solution. * Cloud Sandbox completes the stack of security requirements stopping zero-day malware. The most valuable feature of this solution is the granularity for which you can categorize what you want to block versus what you don't want to block. You have a direct connection with Infoblox support for everything that they're hosting at the in the bloxonecloud at the moment. You don't have to go through a partner. This solution integrates with the Infoblox appliances, so you don't need Excel sheets or external databases to administer what you've got deployed. All of the IP addresses are known. The categorize formula is very helpful. Previously, we used the Cisco solution, where we could not choose how sites are categorized. Blue Coat updated a lot of sites I categorized. There are other valuable features as well, such as block by location, block by IP, allow by IP, and block by user name, domain, or group domain. View full review »

Kamran Shaheen says in a Zscaler Internet Access review
Consultant at a tech services company with 1-10 employees
The best thing about Zscaler Internet Access is the website filtering. In the UAE it's quite an important feature because most of the malware comes through the SQL injection and through downloads from websites. Zscaler helps protect against that. It is very important for a telco provider, so that their customers, who rent or who buy those services from them, do not have an issue. View full review »

Syed Ali Wajahat says in a Cisco Umbrella review
Sr Network and Security Consultant (SDN & Security) at a media company with 1,001-5,000 employees
The most valuable feature is that it prevents DNS-Based attacks, which is quite common these days. The DNS Query is first sent by the user and then it will communicate to the URL. If you are requesting for some URL it process also to an IP. The basic functionality of Cisco Umbrella is to save this type of request and to have a more secure way to communicate the DNS Query back to the user. Any attack based on the DNS Query is stopped by Cisco Umbrella. If you have a proxy, for example, if my DNS server is 172.19.222.21 and I make a server on the same IP or different IBN with the same DNS name, I can make a proxy and the user request will come to me and I can send this user any way I want. So based on these types of attacks, Cisco Umbrella protects the user. The user requests a lot of DNS queries. Even if you don't know it or if the user is not accessing any URL, the laptops or any PC keep on accessing different URL's and you are not aware of it or if it is good or not. Cisco Umbrella gives you the visibility and you know what is happening from this laptop or this endpoint. View full review »
